Pot code:
I found out recently that the pot code actually means something and it's very easy: the pot code consists of 2 rows > top row = resistence (500kΩ) and A or B for resp. tone & volume. Bottom row = digit, digit k or digit, letter k > the first digit = year of manufacture of the pot.
After researching pots on Greco's and Orville's/ObG's, which use the same pots/pot code AND have a serial number which indicates date of manufacture, I found out that 74% of the times the pot code corresponds with the year of manufacture of the actual guitar. Transposing that to Burny's your guitar has a 74% chance of being a 1982 model; yours is '26 k'

Routing:
Terada made Burny's (pre 1979 and 1980/81) have wire routing from right hand corner bridge pup cavity to middle of neck pup cavity. Routing from control cavity to bridge pup cavity is round and start on the left hand side of the control cav.

From 1982 to 1984 the wire routing on Burny's is diagonal (from right hand corner of bridge pup cavity to left hand corner of neck pup cavity).
And the routing from control cavity to bridge pup cavity is square and starts IN BETWEEN the pots. Factory unknown!

Fujigen made Burny's (post 1984) wire routing goes from right hand corner bridge pup cavity to right hand corner neck pup cavity. Control cav to bridge pup cav routing is round and start on the right hand side of the control cav.

Pointer washers:
1982-1984 models have 45 degree angled pointer washers whci are also a little longer than average. The other models feature 90 degree angled pointer washers.
