no mna DT posledne dva albumy vobec nezaujalo takze kludne nech to drzia v tajnosti aj do 2014 

hej, ja mam s poslednych dvoch albumov jeden best of so styrmi skladbami... len dufam, ze (kedze mi to pride celkom narychlo) s tym novym superior drummerom to neunahlia. ten ich kalendar - januar studio, jar-leto vydanie, turne... kam sa tak nahlit, ved je to zbytocny tlak...

inak, tych vtipov o petruccim...uz skoro viac ako o norrisovi... :-). teraz som pozeral ich starsie video so systematic chaos. tam portnoy spominal jeden forik. mozno poznate - ze co je petrucciho najvacsia nocna mora ? ze hra tak rychlom, az sa mu tony zleju do jedinej noty... :-)

no tak to mi pride uz celkom cvokle  ak maju uz noveho clena, tak preco sa nepochvalit normalnymi fotkami...ale takato hra na skryvacku :-)   chudak chlapec novy bicman. asi to fakt bude len nejaky software bicman, a zoberu len na turne potom niekoho :-)

ale bol by skvely ulet, keby vzali na turne pocitac, strasne velku mocnu masinu, ktora by v zaplave svetiel spocivala na piedestali (na portnoyovom fleku) a z nej by mastil software drummer a oni k nemu. a vydali bz press release, ze nenasli na konkurze nikoho vhodneho...

A ty to sledujes, takze ucel to plni no nie? 

Praveze to nesledujem, len mi to prislo do mailu od Roadrunner records, ale to video som radsej ani nepozeral.

na jednu starnu je to reality show, na druhu som rad, ze sa mozem aj takouto formou mrknut na konkurz 7 z najlepsich bubenikov sveta do jednej z najkreativnejsich kapiel. je myslim si vhodne uvedomit, ze tu nejde o video o rytmusovi... 

toto je len taky teaser, tie spravne porcie pridu asi v dalsich videach, kde bude pohlad na konkretnych bicmanov a na to ako sa zhostili DT skladieb. myslim, ze to bude POPRDELI podivana a ja sa na to tesim !

Ved tentokrat toho povedali praveze dost - mate tam vsetkych 7 mien- Mike Mangini, Virgil Donati, Marco Minnemann, Peter Wildoer, Thomas Lang, Derek Roddy and Aquiles Priester. Celkom dobre ste niektori tipovali.

 I've never wanted to work that way..... as I believe that if the business (need to put out a record quickly) over trumps the musical vision (taking time and creating the best you can)

 I like to sit on riffs for a few days.... at least and create the best possible part (as opposed to the automatic one)
 As far as the band being up front with their fans.......I'm sure they want too but, there are some legal issues that needs to be addressed and that takes precedence over what "can be said or announced".
 I'm sure you guys can figure it out......and, I am certain that they knew who they wanted before these auditions were even thought about.
 One thing that was said directly to me was....."whoever it will be.....it's got to be the fans choice...someone the fans are completely happy with".
 I was very busy during that time period....only had a few weeks to learn a 20 minute song, a ballad, and a tech song with 30 part changes within the space of 3 minutes! Haha.

Taky sleduju dění okolo nové bubeníka a není pochyb o tom, že to jsou všecko machři a tak DT trošku vyčkává, jak se k tomu postaví fanouškovská základna, která je pro ně hodně důležitá. Osobně se mi nejvíc zamlouvá Mangini.

moc sa mi nechcelo pozerat 40 minut auditions, nakoniec som si ich pozrel cele.

john myung dokopy povedal len par viet, ale najdolezitejsich. mike mangini vs marco minnemann.
